I have one with another member and its been with him for a while now, he phoned me the other day about sorting out drop off /collection.

He is near Heathrow and if you could pick it up from him (I'll pm you the details if he is ok with this) and ALSO drop it back to me (Guildford) afterwards then we'd all be happy! :)

just let me know.

It will easily turn it over. Even a manual, in gear with someone with their foot on the brake will rarely hold it. There's too much compliance in the drive train to lock the engine solid. We are talking UNDOING the bolt here, not, as the original poster is, pulling the pulley off the crank when the bolt is finally removed. You need to lock the crank up solid, or use an impact gun. OK blondie? ;)
