bpu ??

what would a bpu do to my na i know what a bpu is but is it really worth doing to a na??????????????????

cant do it to an N/A - TT only

You can do the decat and change the plugs but it'll only make it louder.

It would just make it breath easier, you'd have to decat and get an aftermarket air filter.

I believe you can gain 15bhp from this, better throttle response & a bloody loud exhaust!

louder blimey the neighbours already think its a jet i start up in the mornings. i did think that a bpu could only be done on a tt but the i miss read another post

I had an induction on it but took it off and put the stock back on im pretty sure the shock is better

However, moderately increasing the amount of air passing through the engine doesn't gain much power, or could even reduce it unless the engine is remapped, which requires adding a piggyback or changing to a standalone ECU which is not classified as 'Basic'.

have been told a remap on the na is worth the money you don't gain much

The power per £ extractable from an N/A engine is expensive compared to TT BPU, which is basically allowing the original components to create boost up to a level closer to the 'BANG' threshold than Mr T permitted.

The term "bpu" is, in reality for TT's only

Fitting an aftermarket tubular manifold, removing the cats and fitting an aftermarket exhaust should gain around 10-20hp and make the car feel more responsive.
