Hi all,
I've got my new system almost fitted completely, but I'm trying to slim down the nightmare of cables in there.
Firstly, does anyone know which cables are the ignition and permanent power colours? They should be red and yellow respectively, but they're not. The closest I seem to be able to find is an aqua / green wire that appears to be the permanent feed and a purple one which appears to be the ignition feed.
Secondly, I can't seem to get the auto aerial to work rmo the blue control wire on the head unit. I've followed the wire forward from the back and it's a pair of red and green wires with double pink bands. They go into the little power antenna relay box on top of the stereo head unit. But from there, I don't know what the hell's going on.
I expected the usual blue wire, but there isn't one. Can I splice the red wire with the double pink bands before the relay, or will that not work / damage something?
