well on the way back from japfest today, abou 20 miles from home, the supra cut out and back on, like 1 second blip? and then did it again.!?

anybody else had problem like that?

Cheers,daz.

Going on what you said the other day regarding amps, you haven't played with the battery terminals or earth cables have you...?

Might be worth checking them all over sounds like something might be loose and might explain why your Amp not working too.

Hey bud, I ain't played around, I looked at the power cable to the amp and attached it again, just started to pull away, but how would the earth cable affect it turning on? I don't know much :(

If the earth/live terminals on the battery are loose I'm sure it could cause it. Especially if you were pulling away - engine movement might have caused the cut out when it pulled on the loose terminals...

Only a guess, and one that could be checked out easy enough.

If not get the alternator checked out at a local garage, I'm sure a second hand one on here would be cheap worst case.

Failing that I'll buy the car back off you for £1000 ; )
