I would personally go for that one...its only been out since about April, I have the older style Alpine screen headunit and I swear by Alpine, I have had my system for about three and a half years and its never let me down, I have the DVD sat nav too.

I had a Panasonic DVD sat nav n screen before and it was appalling and had to send it all back.

But this new IVA-300 is far superior to what I have....it has intelligent touch screen is Dab ready and has a built in DVD player..plus is a much higher resolution screen.

I almost bought one from Matt Harwood but I spent the money on Petrol getting there and back!!!!!!

So I'm going to wait and uppgrade my system later in the year together with a new Sat nav....but will def be the Alpine.

They are known for their reliability.

I'd check out Kenwood also..they have a good reputation too, and the only other one thats worth comparing with.
