cje001
All, Spend some time cleaning the wheels today (and on the inside which makes a lot of difference) wish they didn't have the slight curbing by the previous owner , also painted the hub/caliper white with hammerite as it looks a lot cleaner/fresher than rust!!! Looks ok considering it kept raining! Anyway, while doing this i noticed (car is quite new) that the shocks were APEXi and the springs were red (usually aftermarket in my experience)... Anyone had any experience with these? Are they decent? The car feels a lot sharper into the corners than my last Supra which just had lowering springs on and stock shocks. Last thing, i thought my wheels were VOLK but inside it says RAYS.... what make are my wheels??!! Thanks, Chris Few crappy pics! Nic
It's been a good few years since they sold suspension for the Supra, it's not a suspension brand I've ever used so don't know what the quality is like, more info HERE
cje001
Yeah they might be the spings, i quite like them, like i say the way this car behaves is very different to my other Now - 18s, TRD strut brace, APEXi shocks, aftermarket springs Old - 19s, Pi Springs, stock shocks Its a lot sharper and responsive. JamieS
For some reason I thought Volks were part of Rays? Could be completely wrong though. Edit: Seems I could be right... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rays_Engineering Edited May 13, 2011 by JamieS (see edit history)

JamieS
Yeah, was just typing something along those lines... without the thick bit!! I seem to remember selling a set of Volks a few years ago, and trying to work out why it had a Rays sticker in it.
