mellonman
Hi was painting my front bumper and had a play with it for better air flow but still wanted stock looking front what are peoples views on this?
jevansio
Ducting the existing gap would have been better. The area needed as an intake to a radiator suraface can be something as low as 1/3 or something stupid like that. the existing mouth is quite large enough to supply enough air, I think that mod will have negligible to no effect, sorry
mellonman
Yeah i know its not gonna have much affect, with the ducting would this have a effect on the radiator
jevansio
It's much eaier to attach teh ducting so it goes to the bumper mouth, if you wanted to duct that extra vent you are going to have to attach the ducting to the bottom of the bumper. This will make the ducting more complex, and I still don't believe you needed the extra intake area, so in summary I still don't think the mod has added any benefit. It does look well executed though
