Underseal/Stonechip Paint - what's best?

While my car is off the road having the wheels, suspension and brakes changed I have decided to do some work on the underbody.

I am not dropping the subframes yet (that'll be a winter job) but I'd like to give the arches and sill areas a bit of a tidy up and coat of paint.

What is the best thing to use? Ideally I need to be able to buy it locally from somewhere like Halfords. Any ideas?

Cheers

Dan

When doing the underside of the floor and arches id use U-POL raptor, IMO the best under seal on the market.

On the likes of suspension arms, subframes and inside box sections defiantly use clear wax oyl spray as it looks so much better appearance and protection wise.

Clean any rust back to bare metal

1) Apply Bilt Hamber Electrox primer

2) Replace any knackered seam sealer in the seams

3) Apply 3M Stone chip

4) Use Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 cavity protection in box sections, chassis rails etc.

Bilt Hamber stuff works, Ive used their Deox gel rust remover and its bloody fantastic.

Waxoil is useless compared to this dynax stuff.

Edit - the Dinitrol stuff is supposed to be pretty good as well, depends what you can get hold of i suppose. :)
