My audio setup in my Supra is fine. The first mod I made was fitting 4 Infinity speakers and tweeters as the old Toyota sets had started to frap and distort. The factory face is actually quite attractive and every thing still works fine except for the original CD driver. No problem as I have the 12 disc multi-changer in the boot. The cars is an import and I orginally thought that maybe Japanese CDs may play different to ours. When I insert a CD the unit accepts the disc, takes 20seconds to read it the ejects the CD! Tried every type of CD I can find without any joy, even Mpegs and Mp3's. Q1 Does the Jap spec CD units require special media? Q2 Anyone had anything similar? Edit: The CD driver has NEVER actually worked from import! Maybe it was broken from day 1. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
