foxysupra Posted April 26, 2011 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Hiya Thought Id come back and say hello. I owned a Supra back in 2006 and regrettably sold it on. Having gone through a number of cars since, ive just put a deposit down on another Supra How happy am I?? Anyway, Ive just paid my membership and once Ive got it on my drive I will get some piccys etc. Its the same as my old car (so thus havent changed my avatar yet). This one is a silver 95 model, import N/A. Hoping to pick it up in a couple of weeks as the dealer is gonna MOT/service/valet it for me Its pretty standard from looking at it, apart from 18" alloys, aftermarket steering wheel and an induction kit. Not really, no I'd be up for some but with the large amount of people in the Midlands, not many seem to be up for meets that often! Hopefully that'll change soon. Have been waiting 2 weeks now for them to MOT it and do a PDI (pre-delivery inspection). Got a phone call on Friday to say that there was a "problem" with the gearbox and they didnt know what it was so it had been booked into a "specialist" for this morning. Have tried ALL day but no reply from the sales guy. Finally got through about half an hour ago and they said that the "first one didnt work" and they were gonna have to try something else... I think because Im a girl they are talking to me like im a dizzy blonde or something! I demanded to know EXACTLY what was wrong, but the sales guy said he knew nothing about engines and that I should speak to the workshop tommorrow. So thats how it stands... yet another day of waiting. Oh I did say that I had a car show on Saturday (Japfest) hoping it would hurry them up - their reply was they would "trailer" it at their expense to the show as it cant be driven!!! BazzaAlpine Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 Had a simular thing with the place I got mine from though it was surposidly the alternator in my case. I was on the phone to them daily. In the end they drove it down to me at some stupid time in the night and took the part-exchange back. Had nothing but problems with it since :'( Anyway, rambling over.
