I have another thread stating there's no electric spark at the plugs. I think my sister is blind as i got someone else to do the ignition and there is spark when i looked.

As there's spark i can only work on the assumption that no fuel is being pumped. Is there an easy way to check if the pump has failed. On switching to acc i cant hear anything in the pump area? I have checked the fuses and they are all in tack. The pump has only covered 3-400 miles.

Did the test this morning, nothing happened not a peep out the pump. As i have said before the pump is not that old. Would it seize that much if not used for a 8 months. The pump has only covered 500 miles since new. I have checked th fuel ignition fuses under the bonnet are there any other fuses i can check still struggling to believe its the fuel pump although thats what everything is pointing to.

Check at the pump connector on the tank fitting for power when the terminals are bridged. i have seen uprated pumps draw so much current the connector pins get hot enough to melt the plastic plug and socket and the connection fails there. Next step then, if all is OK there, is to take the pump out and refit the old one.
