Headlight mounting brackets

Hey folks,

As we all know, the front headlights are held by one bolt at the top on the inside (near to the bonnet catches). They are also supported on the wing side by being mounted to a bracket which links to 2 other holes.

After my bump, these brackets seem to have disappeared haha! I think I may have removed them when I took the lights off.

Is there a part number for them so that I can order new ones, or does anyone - somehow - have any that I can buy/have?

Any help greatly appreciated :)

You have the brackets that have the holes on your car allready dude, what you don't have are the metal side brackets that are on the light unit themselves, that bracket has the 2 bolts that line up with the holes in the bracket attached to your car. The new lights you bought are missing these.

Lol yeah, so I'm thinking the part number, if buying from that, you'll find it's just the part number for full headlight units.. So best to look for a spare set of buggered headlights and use the ones on that.

I'm 90% sure I have a spare passenger side one off an old headlight you can have.. So just a drivers side bracket you need ;)

I've got a set of pre-facelifts that were donors for my clear lense conversion, I bought them cheap because they were in bad condition. I'll have a look for you if you like bud to see if the casing has the brackets intact.

That'd be awesome if you could Jim!

I'm on my way out to the car just now (it's SORN in my mums driveway!) to fit my orange blobs and arch liners just now. It'll be MOT ready once that's done with the exception of these headlight brackets! With the potential wobble I reckon it'd fail on that! So definitely need to get some!

Thanks dude :)
