Supra still won't start. I have checked all wiring and all is correct. I had the plugs out and there dry and look as they sud. The car turns but won't fire. The battery is new. Fuel pump is new but I know it works as it was fitted last yr and the car was used. The car hasn't been moved since July last yr. The car hasnt been driven a lot in the last couple of yrs but Wud always start. Could it be something like ht leads or distributor cap/rotor. Any thoughts please. Oh and there is fuel in the car

Are the plugs 'wet' with fuel when you remove them? If the engine is not starting and the plugs are wet then fuel supply is okay, if they are dry then engine is not getting fuel - check wiring to the pump.

Have you checked you are getting a spark to all plugs? Remove each plug at a time, ground them on the engine and turn engine over. Check all HT leads are secure, spark plug gaps are correct, and that the rotor arm and distributor cap are properly fitted.

How wet should the plugs be? They were what I Wud call moist. I havnt moved the spark plug gap as it said not meant to plus it was starting with at the factory setting. I will try each plug and see if I get a spark. Is it common the distributor cap may have failed?
