How to remove steering wheel

Put the centre nut back on a few turns so that when the wheel comes off you don't smash it into your face, if your not using a hub puller.

Just down to brute force really but try to work your way round the wheel so you don't distort the wheel & don't forget that centre nut unless you want to break your nose.

Hub puller is favourite if you can't do it by hand.

Yeah thanks for the heads up, I saw that in a previous thread and i've made sure to keep it on a few turns. I made myself a little tool to press it off out of a spare bit of metal I had lying about but it was a bit flimsy and bent the metal!

I'll give it another try today but failing that, would this do?
