I filled my car to the brim at Hopwood services (J2 M42) then drove to Southampton. Filled up when I got there (at the nearest Shell to the ferry port) and it cost me £20 to fill.

About 140 miles for £20 at £1.45 a litre. Work that out ;)

Josh as thats around 46 mpg which a mkiv supra will never do !

Extremely weird but true. From J2 M42 to Southampton and when I got there I filled it up as much as it would go and it cost me £20 and a few pence.

True story!

Are you sure it wasn't 20 litres and not £20 ?

140 miles divided by (20 litres) = 4.4 gallons which is 31.8 mpg which has a chance if you drove like a nun :D

I've got the receipt here and it was £20.01 and I got 14.2 litres.

The pump stopped first at about £19.50 and I carried on to £20.

I'll fill up full as I get off the ferry on the way back then fill up when I get back to Halesowen and I'll take pictures for proof :)

It's all down hill though, heading south :)

I've never gettin decent mpg in mine, lucky if I were to get 20mpg but I do have a pretty heavy foot.
