me and the missus just been for a drive and had a few knocks coming from p/side front i.e

came out of petrol station down slope then onto rd and a slight knock but driving ok apart from steering wheel shakes around 70mph (wheels have been balanced

looked at suspension quick and noticed d/side front, gap between wheel and arch was less than other side same at the back but p/side rear was lower than drivers side

one side my hand would fit other side wouldn't... and when parked on a slope every so often a slight creeking noise wasn't hand brake as was in park

BUT then after a several mins they leveled out i could put my hand inbetween wheel and arch... what the hell is that any help before i start buying new shocks

ps was checked when i got home on level ground and im not a fat ba$£*%d:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You need to get the car on a ramp so all the suspension components can be checked for wear.

The creaking could be just down to loose subframe or suspension bolts.

same as mine, subframe bolts needed to be tightened.... 10 min job
