jimojameso Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) Cancelled due to lack of interest April Fairmile Meet 2011 Saturday, 16th April 2011 from 1.30PM Onwards The Fairmile Portsmouth Road, Fairmile, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1BW After March's well attended meet let's try make April's even better!! It's going to be Hot and Sunny... hopefully Just right for a nice pub-grub and a bit of fun in the sun! For those of you who don't know The Fairmile, it's a big pub with a huge green out front that we can park on. There's the usual tables outside to you can eat & drink whilst keeping an eye on your beloved (Supra obviously) I'll see if i can book the function room this month for lunch if the weathers bad. It's only five minutes from J10 of the M25 so can be easily got to from the M4 / M3 / M25. Please pop your name up (copy & paste) to let others know you can make it. Convoy for the Kent crew will be meeting at 12.30 at Clacketts. Be there!! Hopefully our resident film genius's Dan and Scott will be getting some great footage as usual!! Have fun chaps... Getting a repair on the front where the mot place managed to miss the ramp and put a few nice splits/ cracks in the nose! hope you all have a good one.. hope to see you at the next one (with a repaired car!).. Scooter Posted April 3, 2011 Share Posted April 3, 2011 just as a heads up for the may or June meet the Hindhead tunnel (1 mile) is due to open soon and is a direct blat southwards down the A3, it is however nearly a 50mile round trip from jnt 10 of the M25 but would make a good mid afternoon cruise? I do know that there will be exits off the A3 very close to both ends of the tunnel so a few goes back amd forth could be done easily with perhaps some nice photo/video opportunities?
