How do you remove the auto gearshift.

Theres a collar at the bottom of the gear knob.........prise/pull this down to reveal 2 screws , one facing the dash the other facing away .
remove those and disco the o/d switch et voila

Thanks Matt tried the collar yesterday seemed like it would not move not having any manuals would not try to force until I had the info.
