Supra doopra Posted July 27, 2004 Share Posted July 27, 2004 Just wondered how many people are going to "TEN OF THE BEST" at Elvington near York on Sunday 1st August. From what iv'e heard should be a good day out for all toyota owners. They are running the 1/4 mile and i believe also a small track to race round aswell. Should be some bloody quick cars there doing the 1/4mile, and are any of you guys and gals going or even know about it? cheers.................. Yes.. this is probably the most important weekend for Jap Performance car owners. Have you not seen the banner at the top of the page? Its a well advertised event. Its deffo worth going to see some of the quickest cars in the country run. There are plenty of threads on the topic, including some in General discussion and the Gathering and Meets section. We have 9 cars running in the event (only 1 car running turbos as Toyota designed...whats the world coming to) so there should be a fair bunch of us up there. Terry and Dude, I got the competitors support stickers through today, I have one for Leons 'big blue van' as well. We need to talk about departure times on Saturday, looks like Im picking my brother up again so will need to meet at J23a of the M1 like last time..
