brakes/calipers disks

The larger TT callipers can be retro fitted (often referred to as UK brakes), but only on 17" standard wheels or if your after market ones will clear them.

Smaller TT callipers are the same as the NA callipers.

Generally OEM discs are fine with some decent pads (like Chris Wilsons) unless you're doing track days. Don't waste money on grooves and holes etc.

[edit] I should also add that upgrading the rears to match is advisable to maintain the correct braking distribution, but many don't bother.

Waste of money in my opinion unless your going to use the car on circuits for trackdays etc, give the brakes you have a service, bleed the system and most importantly use decent tyres

Standard pads and discs are plenty good enough for rd use

thanks pete i want to change all 4 corners i've got 18'' after market wheels on it can i just put any na calipers on or do they have to be what i have on now obviously ill change the pads to suit

You will need to make sure your 18" wheels will clear the larger brake calipers. The larger 4pot front calipers are quite a bit wider and there can be clearance problems between the front face of the caliper and the back face of the spokes.

The Supra was fitted with 2 brake options, they are both interchangeable on any Supra model.

Smaller Brakes

Front - Calipers 2pot/Discs 296mm x 32mm

Rear - Calipers 1pot/Discs 307mm x 16mm

Larger Brakes

Front - Calipers 4pot/Discs 323mm x 30mm

Rear - Calipers 2pot/Discs 324 x 16mm
