"At Bristol Motor Speedway on July 10th the Titan Supra shattered the previous MPH record of any Street Supra by running [email protected] MPH. BigRoy
*ahem* In 1991, a JUN 300ZX set the record of 419.84kmh (260mph) at Bonneville. The record still stands. http://www.junauto.co.jp/democar/jb-z32/index.html?en Ten years later, the same company, JUN, tried with a Supra and, with the benefit of ten more years of development, reached.... 401.2 kmh (249mph) http://www.junauto.co.jp/reports/bo...1/index.html?en Still slower than the Zed, then

I think the JUN records are flat out max speed, judging the fact the pictures show the car out on Salt Flats. *Edit* Found this: JUN BLITZ Z32 RESULTS DATE - Aug./1991 CIRCUIT - Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway in USA HOSTS - BONNEVILE NATIONAL SPEED TRIALS RECORD - 419.84km/h DRIVER - S.Koyama
dude
Originally posted by loks Yes...same as all street Supras do Plenty of the fast street cars use chutes , in fact after a certain time/speed its mandatory , obviously they dont use/need the chutes on the street when de-tuned but fill em up with race gas and crank up the power and hey presto they are a nice thing to have .
