Hi guys..

In the process of installing my Greddy...If someone has done this recently I need your help.

1. AC Tube relocation - I dont know why its required, both the AC tubes on the left side are bolted to the body, why do you need the bracket? Is it okay that the PS tube is rubbing against it?

2. The lower mount for the FMIC, one of the bolt heads is broken off, been there for a while, I need to get it out so I can mount the cooler. Any ideas?

Will try to get some pics up now..

Please help!

Do you have THESE INSTRUCTIONS?

Yep Nic, I have those, working with them and the ones that came with the cooler.. Its in Japanese but the pics give the sequence. Here are the problems I have..

1. Broken bolt in the FMIC mounting point - Bought a removal kit, lets hope it works..

2. A/C tube, not sure which on to relocate - See pic below.

3. Power steering fluid - less than a litre came out of it, condition was terrible. I cant find Dexron III, can I use normal P/S fluid?

4. Battery is too big - Not sure if this is the right size, check pics - The casing that normally fits around it was not on it, so I think it is too big. WHat is the right size?

Hmmm I have a massive Halfords calcium battery and the same expansion bottle and they all fit fine? How have you installed the bracket for the bottle. The cut in the battery tray is quite small so the bracket should be quite far over.

As for the aircon pipes, one of mine was already on a bracket, I removed this and used the new bracket supplied to move it out of the way. The other pipe was close so I tweaked it over slightly. It was all a bit of a squash.

OK so update on todays progress..

1. Broken bolt - Bought an Easy-out kit, it broke in the bolt.. So now I have to replace the case nut on the radiator support. Made a temporary mount on the little hole next to it, as I needed to get the I/C on to get the car going. Gonna have to limp to the garage to get it sorted...

2. A/C tube - once the cooler was on, lined the pipes up and sorted out the tube, its a bit of a squash indeed but it worked out..

3. Power steering Fluid - Only topped up about 700ml.. SOmething is not right,so gonna get it flushed and changed at the garage. Bought Nissan fluid, it has a "III" on it(rest is Japanese) so it should be the right one..

4. Battery - Size was wrong, had to buy a smaller on so thats sorted..

All in all, an eventful weekend... The things we go thru for our cars..
