Aircon fan behind front bumper

I replaced mine with a slim line electric fan when I installed my FMIC. You will defo need to remove the front bumper to do this as I think it will be a pain in the arse otherwise. Some of the brackets, I'm thinking of the top ones, will be next to impossible to do otherwise. Also if you don't remove the bumper you run the risk of seriously damaging your aircon rad in the process.

Front bumper is easy anyway.

Do you have to watch out for anything airbag related when taking the front bumper off? I don't really want to go blowing up my airbags if/when I take the front bumper off! I don't really know how they work, but I assume there must be some sort of sensor at the front to deploy them when they're needed.

No the sensors for the airbags are in the centre console inside the car and on the inside of each front wing. Nothing at the front to fear.

Also if ever in doubt with the airbag, just disconnect the battery.
