can any 1 tell me does the lexus IS200 use the same block as the mkIV supra.

i know its a 2.0l but its an inline 6 and most company's try to keep cost down by using the same blocks but in different size's I.E. cc, turbo, non turbo.

just like the toyota altezza, its the same car( IS200 ) but in that verson it use's the 2.0l inline 4 from the mr2 and celica's which is the 3sge block.

thx gary.

:yeahthat: it's the same crap box as the S15 Silvia apparently.

and also Honda S2000 I believe, shame it's not the V160/161 as it would have saved me a lot of hassle when I get a supra given that I currently have a IS200 lol, best way I can put it is the mkiv supra gearbox (V160/161) is made of granite and the IS200 box is made of toffee
