Hi guys, right basically iv just bought myself a t61 turbo with a few other bits and pieces including oil feed/drain, 4" downpipe and intake. Im hoping to swap this with my previous turbo which, shall i say, bitten the bullet. How hard will this swap be if i were to attempt to do myself? Im quite handy with a spanner and dont mind bloodying my knuckles up abit, but am i beng a little bit ambitious? :D

Go for it mate, if you take your time you shouldnt have a problem, just depends how confident you are?

If the turbo is the same size and has the same fittings it will be an absolute doddle. No harm in trying anyway :)

Its not quite the same size but only fractionally bigger. The kit i bought was previously used with an xs power manifold. Am i right in saying everything should match up as i have an xs manifold on my car at the moment? Iv got an option of fitting a cast manifold, but obvioulsy this will need some major fabrication the the downpipe as it fits differently.
