the car came with no cat previous owner did not have the cat either...

The cats have been replaced with straight through pipes for possible bpu. Try Keron, extreme performance trader here, who breaks Supras. Hell most probably have a cat.

Does your car have a boost gauge?

You need to know if it was bpu'd properly or you could be in trouble turbo wise. Removing the cats will allow the turbos to spin way over the top and they'll break. You should look for a restrictor ring in your exhaust pipe more than likely where the 2nd cat pipe was.
