:) hey guys & gals

put a post up last weekend saying i was having issues with my car intermittently lossing power! id pull over turn car off and 10 mins later start car and it would be fine for awhile! nic reccomended checking a thread out and doing the check for stored faults on my ecu, iv done this and none are stored! its happened 2-3 times where iv had to pull over due to lose of power and the car idling all over the place and about another 6-7 times just small 1-2 seconds power dies off, lights come on dash (red triangle & orange engine management light) then all turns off power ressumes and im off !!! any other ideas before i have to take it to a garage and recieve a big bill no doubt !!!! lol:search:

hey scooter no revs dont die, rev counter goes up and down wid engine fine as far as im aware ! tbh i dont know a thing about engines but im guessing its either one of the lamber sensors or the 02 sensor ! saying that i did the check from the forum by putting a paper clip between E1 - TE1 came back as no faults found !!!

a simple thing to check for is loose battery terminals.......just grab the plastic cable and try and rotate them about the +ve and -ve terminals (one at a time and be careful not to bridge the two terminals).....does the battery have a central metal brace holding it firmly in place?
