im trying to get the idle speed down as its a bit high, tried to change settings on the throttle body aswell but i cant seem to get it down

so the idle is calculated by the ecu ??

im runnng an after market ecu also, so has the idle speed been done by the person who tuned it ??

Yes. Although most aftermarket ECUs aren't capable of using the stock idle control valve so you may well find it's controlling the idle by using fuel and timing adjustments alone. What ECU is it?
