JamesArup Posted July 17, 2004 Share Posted July 17, 2004 Hmmm .... ANOTHER one has gone!! At Boxhill today I was telling people that my second turbo was feeling a bit funny. On the way home it was even worse - 2nd turbo wasn't working at all!! Popped the bonnet, and very quickly noticed that one of my FMIC hoses had split (see pics below). Hose 1 Hose 2 Firstly ... could this have done any damage in the 20 mins or so that I was driving with the split hose? Could have sucked something in the hole I guess?? Also, the inside of the split hose was very oily! Secondly ... Does anyone have a short length of 2.5 inch internal diameter boost hose that I could get my mitts on urgently to fix this?? :p Cheers, J p.s. My bumper is coming off soon to be repaired, so I'll get all the hoses changed while I can get to them - If one of the ones behind the bumper splits, then I really will be screwed!!
