9.5 / 10.5 or 8.5 / 10.5

  1. 1. 9.5 / 10.5 or 8.5 / 10.5

    • 9.5 on the front (go big or go home)
    • 8.5 on the front (stay safe and maybe use a spacer :( )

Guys,

Your thoughts and input required please...

I have wanted a set of these for years......

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/emenu/datas2/VOLK/190_GTC_1/big.jpg

They are a bit pricey :( but i love them!

what do you think?

I'm also looking for help on offsets.....

I have fully rolled rear arches (completely flush) :D

I'm thinking of the following...

Fronts... 19" 8.5 FACE 1 inset A +39mm (don't think so but can I go to +27mm??)

Rears... 19" 10.5 FACE 2 inset B +37mm (or can I go lower to +24mm??)

Your thoughts and advice appreciated.

Thanks

J

Rays recommend the following sizes and offsets for a stock Supra

Front - GT-C Face 1 19x8.5 +39

Rear - GT-C Face 2 19x9.5 +37

Those are the sizes I've got.

The rear wheel looks perfect but the front wheels could do with coming out towards the arch around 5mm I would say to fill the arches better, I'm not sure if that would give any clearance problems as I haven't tried it yet.

I wish I had gone for a 10.5" rear but the 9.5" was recommended, I like a wide rear.

The wheels look great but the shiny lip is very delicate and easily scratched, they're not light either but I don't have any regrets.

Yes I think that I may go with a 5mm spacer on the fronts as I will need to accommodate my next little purchase........;)

If you are buying new wheels get sizes/offsets that'll accommodate the brakes, don't use spacers.

Thanks Nick the face A should clear big breaks no problem just like to push them out to fill the wings better and 5mm might help if things are tight (they should not be as I'm not going down the UK spec route)

Got to agree with your earlier post I think the +27 on the font is pushing things a bit far the best offsets I have seen in this size have bee +32 - +33mm

I'm just waiting on MVP to confirm fitment now :)

8.5 +27 will fit the front with ease, lots people run 9" front +32 and +35, its very common supra fitment even without rolling., depends what look you want, i only like an aggresive fit.

Ive had 9.5 +22 on the front of mine with a arch roll.

Thanks mate I want aggressive!! :)
