hI CHAPS I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN DONE A THOUSAND TIMES BUT I BROUGHT SOME HEADLIGHTS FROM MARK UK SPEC THERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION APART FROM A SCANKY BROWN STUFF ON THE SILVER SUROUND JOBBIES SEE PIS ATTACHED ANY WAY TO CLEAN THESE AND THE CLASS WILST IAM AT IT

BUT THE THING I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW IS THE BEST WAY TO GET THE BLACK SEALENT OFF!!!!! FICKIN STUFF

Hi Wayne

The brown stuff is what's under the chrome finish so you won't be able to just clean the brown stuff off. Your only option is to repaint them really.

You need to soften the black sealant by putting the lights in the oven for 10 or 15 mins. Make sure no part of the light is touching the sides or back of the oven though, otherwise you'll melt the plastic (like I did once)

Well it's a bug store near to me which sells loads of stuff pretty cheap. I thought they were a big chain but as they don't appear in a google search I guess they're not. You should be able to get the paint from Halfords or a craft shop.
