updated dyno with the rpm

as the title says for everyone who told me off for missing rpm lol

looking good, does it feel laggy when on normal roads with day 2 day driving?

Looks very laggy for a 68mm turbo, 5100rpm you are making 340bhp, my 76mm turbo is making about 750bhp at the same revs, same dyno.

havnt been able to run it on road yet due to weather but obviously i understand what lag is but how would you reduce it

change down A gear is the cheapest way...

Hard to say, could be anything, turbo looks huge for 68mm, i dont know the other specs of it, maybe thats what them turbos spool like, all the same with 700bhp it will still be hugely fast, dont worry about the lag, drive and enjoy i say.

i blew mine up and bought it from paul at whifbitz it was his personal one that he never got round to fitting ,he said that it was borg warner internals but as you say it is very big for 68mm,but ryan reckons that once i change injectors the engine and turbo should be good for 900 horses,however if im gonna suffer huge lag then massive surge in power it is never gonna be controlable,i would far rather have a smoother delivery of power cos at least then it will be useable,any thoughts

What pressure are you running at? It might just be a huge AR exhaust causing the lag.

Are you aiming for 900hp? If not then I would sell the turbo and aim for something with a little less cushion

I think it will be ok, if you want big power there will always be a trade off for spool, ive never much liked the borg warner turbos myself as ive not seen great results from them anywhere yet when compared to the latest billet dbb precision units.

unfortunately i dont know anything about turbo quality so i was in the hands of someone else,selling not an option as its all brand new an just fitted,

i am only running about 1.4 bar of boost would that make any difference

Spool time will be the same with more boost, it will just ramp up quicker, be interesting to see what power it does at more boost, i have a feeling it will make huge power.

everything in engine ready for more power but got to get some 1000cc injectors ,that should be all i need[famous last words ]

If you want 900bhp i would go bigger than 1000cc injectors, they will be maxed out and not good for flow.
