Finally got round to registering.

21 year old, had licence for 4 years. First car was a vauxhall astra 1.9cdti. Awesome first car, but now i have some no claims built up, got a chance with insurance... so its time fulfill my dreams.

Single turbo for the noise otherwise i love the twin turbos.

Now on the search... open up to advice and tips. Feel free

Welcome to the club :)

I'm 22 and drive a Golf 1.9 tdi (yes, I've had the abuse all ready ;)) and am a test drive away from Supra ownership.

I'd recommend starting with a stock TT as the single might "sound nice" but going from a diesel Astra to a 500bhp RWD car would be a crazy jump!

Check insurance quotes as an imported (J-spec) TT6 was going to cost me about £3500 p/a, whereas the UK spec TT6 is only going to cost me £850.

Good luck with your search!
