FAQ's

What is Zoopseal?
Zoopseal is a hybrid ceramic sealer, it is not a polish or wax. It is a protectorate.

What does a ceramic base sealer do?
It will impregnate into the pores of the product being treated, which will stop the process of oxidation immediately. A crisp, and clean appearance is the end result. Your product will continue to look like new without repolishing.

What can I use Zoopseal on?
Aluminum, Raw Aluminum, Brass, Chromed Plating, Stainless Steel, Anodized Aluminum Parts, Stainless Steel in Restaurant Kitchens, Outside Furniture, Awnings, and Paint.

How long does Zoopseal last on my product?
2 to 3 years.

When it is time to re-apply after 2 to 3 years, how and what are the steps?
You will need to re-condition your product if necessary and re-apply (you’ll need to re-order a Zoopseal Kit) using the same method as before. Just follow the Kit instructions and your product will continue to look like new.

Will Zoopseal rejuvenate or refurbish my product?
No, it will not. It will only protect from oxidation and dulling.

Will it harm the painted finishes on my car?
No it will not.

Will Zoopseal provide protection against fresh water?
Yes, but not against underwater abrasions.

What does salt water do to Zoopseal?
We recommend that you do not have your product immerged into salt water for a length of time (over 2 hours). If exposed to salt water use soapy water and wash off the salt within 2 hours. Salt water will cause your product to discolor.

How can I get Zoopseal off my product once it is applied?
By repolishing the product using any commercial polish.

What type of cleaners can be used on Zoopseal?
NO CAUSTIC OR ALKALINE CLEANERS. Only Zoops Cleaner is to be used on the product.

How much Zoopseal do I need on the lint free towel during the application process?
Very little!!! The towel should be barely damp, NOT WET!

Can I use Zoopseal on my radiator and will heat affect it?
Yes, you can use Zoopseal on a radiator. Heat from the radiator will help it to cure and make it stronger. We do not recommend putting Zoopseal on an exhaust, this heats up too much.

Can I use Zoopseal on Magnesium?
No, not yet, it is still being tested.

Can I use Zoopseal on Copper?
No, this has been tested.

Can I use Zoopseal on Fiberglass?
No, not yet, it is still being tested.

Best Regards,

Gaz.

I had the funny character problem when I was putting Ibrar's website together.

I fixed it by setting the charset to UTF-8 in the page headers.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

I have bought some but am yet to use it. I think it is only a sealing product and not a cleaning one. If I remember correctly, the tiems must be cleaned thoroughly before use.

Gaz Walker

Its perfect for all chrome and polished surfaces Dale...

How about a special - anyone who buys a deluxe kit gets free P&P this month only.

Marco - quite a few (maybe 10-15?) Supra owners have this kit now - I know some have applied it. Hopefully they can post up their comments.

The unfortunate thing is people are mainly buying this after they have incurred wheel damage for the first time. This is a preventative measure/protectant and needs to be applied before salt/acids/brake dust get at the wheel.

A customer that ordered a kit yesterday said he had a set of wheels refurbished (they were polished) and within 2 weeks the corroded again.

Regards,

Gaz.

If so, how about a deal where we send you the wheels and you sort them out, then apply this Zoopseal stuff so when we put them on the car we wont have to worry about for the next couple of years. :D

Oh yeah, something I wasn't sure of is it states very clearly that you can only clean them with the Zoopseal cleaner. OK, but I take it have soapy water from washing the car running over them wont hurt?

Gaz,

Will this work on my Racing Hart "split rims" I bought from you a while back - on the rim part obviously.

I am not 100% sure whether the rim is lacquered or not.

Also, do you recommend any cleaners in particular for these rims?

Gaz Walker
24-04-06, 18:20
Hi Dan,

It will work well yeah.

What needs cleaning off them, how good condition are they. Different cleaners for different problems! :)

Gaz,
it states that an exhaust would be too hot for zoopseal, so what kind of engine bling bits would be limited as to its use?

Gaz Walker

Hi Bob, everything except an exhaust manifold we believe.

Is the deluxe package still £99 plus p&p

dandan
08-05-06, 20:47
Sorry for the slow reply Gaz - few membership issues.

Anyway,

I suppose the wheels have a few "water dots" on the the polished rim and also some small bits of black on the polished rim - tight against the gold centre rim part - very hard to get at bith a sponge or cloth although I do so at least 3 times a month. Some of the black deposits are also present on the gold centre too but on the back face really.

Any ideas on cleaners to sort this without damaging the rim/centre at all?

Cheers

Dan

Hi Dan,

You should try the Briliant polish range I posted about recently. They will look, err, brilliant when cleaned with this!

dandan

Gaz,

Will this remove black "stains" where water and brake dust have mated when washing the wheels and then stained the rims a little.

Will it definitely not damage the gold centre, the ally centrenut, thepolished (maybe lacquered) rim?

Can you tell me the price and also a price for some drop in side feed injectors for a J spec in the 650cc/min+ range.

Thanks Dan

Gaz Walker
08-06-06, 10:15
Hi Dan,

You need to clean the wheel thoroughly first - this is not a cleaner, its a sealant. Try the briliant range of polish to get it really clean first, then apply the Zoopseal. It will not damage the wheel no...

PE Injectors 650cc are £600 a set matey.

Regards,

Gaz.

The cleaner is the one I was asking about! :)

Is that 100% ok on the split rim CR's and will it lift off brake dust residue without scrubbing?
