pedrosixfour Posted December 7, 2010 Share Posted December 7, 2010 I don't think the exterior will suffer greatly in the frost and snow mate. I usually find its the interior that takes a beating in the cold, damp conditions due to a lack of use. When you do start it give the car plenty of time to warm up to normal temperature, get the heater and a/c running full blast to drive excess moisture out of the cabin. I'd leave the car running a lot longer than 10 minutes. I could be leaving myself open to other mechanical problems by doing this but a damp car is horrible and near impossible to cure. I too have been concerned about the frost damaging the car, even though it is undercover the condensation has left a small layer of ice on the surface. I seriously need a garage..!! H. I tried to open the bonnet yesterday to add some more Meth/Water and I couldn't open it without warming the engine up.
