Hi,

my name is Igor. I live in Gemany and study mechanical engineering in Karlsruhe at the moment. This weekend I bought a '95 TT 6sp, I better let the pics speak (although I didn't manage to make proper once till yet).

It's almost stock at the moment and is going to stay stock.

I have read a lot on this forum and it also helped me a lot already! :)

Also hope to find some parts for my Sup here.

Igor

Thanks for the nice words! :)

@ripped_fear:

How do you recognize that its the one from the projects section although its almost stock? Which project do you mean?

Actually the seller wanted to bring me the car down to Dover with a trailer but then I got this pic from him:

So as he didn't want to drive on snow I drove up myself and took it from there.

All in all 1000km for my Sup and 2000km for my Celica..

And the Supra had summer tyres!

I recognize it because it was in the projects section and it is one sections I follow on the forum fairly religiously, and this one really was nice seeing the car being rebuilt.

Also when I asked a couple of questions about the car after he had finished it, he said it had been sold and then posted the above picture as the last picture of the car the day before some took it to Germany. have you read the project thread one the car? it would be worth a read to see how much effort the previous owner put into the car. it really is a beautiful example. :D

Thanks mate!

For some reason I didn't see that thread before. As I bought the car I checked it so I knew what I was buying. Of course I have noticed that some parts have been replaced/repainted but it was still a good deal for me.

It's a pity for all the hard work on the headlights - they'll come out for the German glass ones. (The ones that are shining in the right direction :p)

lol bit of a shame but you can always sell the other one.

I would have thought you did get a good deal as the work done was done well, so tbh I wouldn't of thought the car would be worth any less than any other supra. (so well done for picking up a good one :) )the only thing I think the car is missing is a oem spoiler and spats.

The seller didn't tell me about the restoration. He was probably afraid of the reaction on that first pic - well, it is in fact quite impressive.

another stunner left the uk

Probably some guy in Japan was saying just the same as it was going to the UK! ;)
