I need some new tyres for the rear ( Stock UK's).

Any advice on what to put on please! If the roads are slightly damp my current ditch finders are spinning up a treat ATM which isnt really impressing me

I was going to leave them and get another set of rims but my new ones dont come until February/March time, so looks like i'm going to have to

I have just changed mine for the very same reason, it was only a matter of time before i lost complete control in the wet. My old ones were well onto the markers and had lost grip in the wet and spun up with ease. I bought 295 Vredstein Sassantas but ended up rolling my arches this weekend as they rubbed right bad! However in the wet they seem good so far, only done about 200 miles so far so not really bedded in yet, but already in today's rain they feel heaps better than the old ones and they are well rated in the wet which is one of the reasons I went for them, but not the cheapest. I had a set of cheaper Kuhmo Ecstas 265 on my NA and they too pretty good in the wet for a cheaper brand. Lot of people rate Falkens as a mid range tyre, couple of guys on MKivgroup have them and rate them well. in fact this is what I just took off my tt but cant comment as they too were pretty close to the markers when I got the car in the summer. Thanks bud, I've got kumho's on the front but the back are star millenniums

I've heard good things about the vredsteins also, maybe worth a look although I'll have to wait until Xmas presents are all bought to see I'd I have enough for a set

Toyo t1s or the latest 1 they do are good value for £.

Vredersteins sassanta,s are very very good in the wet and dry, im on my second set now

Forgot to add these will be used as winter wheels from now on also, so the tyres don't have to be all rounders, they can just be for winter conditions

I'll look into the T1s and the vredsteins, they're going to have handle a BPU supra once mines converted in the next couple of months also
