i have just put a straight through exhaust on my car and hks induction kit but since i removed both cats car is not running right

it seems like it lost a bit of power and when i put my foot down it struggles to pull away quick as if its running out of fuel .

when driving slow its not so noticeable

I few weeks ago I put a 3" straight through catback S/S exhaust on my N/A and removed the 2nd cat, apart from it being incredibly loud, it lost a lot of acceleration and it became very thirsty, I put the 2nd cat back on which solved the noise, acceleration & fuel problems.

Ive got a second decat with a 3" cat back exhaust and if anything it feels better on accel

Read this: bpu

You can't just decat a TT and expect it to run, the boost will run away without some control of the boost, it'll overboost and detonate even without an FCD fitted.

You MUST:

- Get a boost gauge

- Get a restrictor ring

- Fit an FCD

- Fit a new fuel pump

- Fit a colder grade plug

- Check your intercooler is in top condition
