Morning guys.

Just been having a long convo with abz. We are thinking about doing a weekend trip to france next may.

Maximum it would cost all in at £300. Would be great to see quite a few supra's going.

I know its a bit far in the future but i thought it would be good to get everyone notified about this asap.

We will be meeting first thing, maybe bluewater? Then travelling down to dover, catching the ferry then travelling down france.

Looking at dates either friday morning 27th to sunday 29th evening or saturday 28th morning to sunday 29th evening.

Maximum 2 tanks of petrol - £140ish

Hotel - £60ish

Ferry return - £30ish

food and drinks at your costs.

I need to look into this a little bit more, give a exact price etc

I think maybe making this one of the big avents for the club next year as its an big year for the club next year.

This post is also up in the south east section

Right this could be the hotel, nothing exciting, express inn - holiday inn. £80 per night b+b http://www.holidayinn-lille.com/

The hotel is located in lille which is 58 miles from calais to lille which isnt that far down.

We are going over to france by euro tunnel now not p&o ferry, need to find out a price, see if we can get a discount depending on how many supra's are going

How does this sound to everyone?

As part of next years anniversary celebrations we are planning to try and revive the Dragon Ball style event and hit Europe in some way.

Nothing concrete as yet though.

That sounds fantastic Pete!

What is the Eurostar like with lowered cars?

Terrible, you can't even get the cars on them! :D

I think you are meaning the Euro Tunnel? From what I hear they are pretty good for lowered cars, nothing like the Ferry crossing as they sometimes have a steep hill to go up which some really low cars will struggle with. Also when I went recently I came across a large rubber type ramp which I thought I'd struggle up, but it managed to get over it fine.
