Personely i would have brought the Ridox bumper from Garage whifbitz. you might pay more for it but you are getting a piece of mind knowing that its going to be a better fit. And if there is somthing wrong with it Paul will do his best to sort it for you

hi paul nice to hear from you mate.

yes it comes with the under tray but no carbon lip.

the price was £325 but albert is nice enough todo it for £300.

i just got of the phone with him and he reassured me the fitment will be spot on.

so as long as it fits fine you must agree that its a lot cheaper then yours paul.. by nearly £300 ..

i think its only fare to hard working members on here that you address your replica prices .

and by the way your ksport 6/8 pot brake kits are also over priced.

ksport website sell them for nearly £90 less then you and thay give you the pads,,,??

so why you wont more from members then ksport is beyond me,, mybe you can shed some light on it for me ,

The pic on their site shows the undertray.

Ah yes so it does, its fibreglass though. My one is more expensive yep, I changed the manufacturer for my bodykit pieces earlier this year, still the same moulds but the quality and finish is much better. They are made using a much more flexible and lighter material which aids fitment. Before they used to be solid so there was no movement when fitting, they are now absolutely spot on. The kit we fitted on Steve L's car http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/blog/?p=316 litterally just bolted straight on, we didn't even paint it, black gel coat straight out of the mould!

My kits are made in the UK, not imported from China and so forth. £300 is cheaper than what I pay for my own ones, I'm not trying to rip anyone off if thats what you think. If I was doing that I wouldn't be in business specialising in Supras for 11 years.

K-sport advertise the brakes £90 cheaper as they dont include a £90 air freight surcharge, my website prices do. If you dont pay the air freight surcharge you have to wait 8-10 weeks for them to come by sea freight. I can do them at this price if required if you dont mind waiting. My kits come with pads as well?

Hope that clears that up for you.

Well I've never had a complaint yet, obviously your the first, hope the Knight Racer one works for you. Are they charging VAT on top of £300 or is that included or aren't they charging it all?

Not being funny, and no relation to KR or Whifbitz here, but id rather a bumper that fits than having to make it fit, not so bad for you Adam if you part own a bodyshop, but for those that dont the cost of work to rectify poorly fitting parts could run to more than the cost of a decent one in the first place. Besides a dodgy bumper thats been made to fit looks just that, even by some of the best bodyshops out there.

Id rather pay double the price and have a decent copy than not, and thats not a dig at KR or anyone else, just that more and more members on here seem to be shopping for parts on price alone and not on quality.

your site says no pads but can be supplied at extra cost..?

and ksport has got stock in with no 8/10 week wait.. i phoned them yesterday 8 pot 356mm plenty on the shelfs thay said.

and alberts ridox bumpers is made in the uk not china so ther both a replica and made in the uk..it sounds the same as yours except your silly price mate..

I hear you buddy for sure but if the fitment is fine and iv been assured it will or money back.. why pay nearly double.

I will show the fitment good or bad so kr and wifbitz know the score,,

im not shoping for cheap parts i wont the best fitment but i dont throw money away to people who have more then me.

Well if K-sport have them in stock at that price, I can sell it at that price to, in fact I'll beat there price if you like, you've only got to ask rather than using this approach. I've changed the wording on the website as it did look a bit misleading, they do come with pads included.

You didn't answer my question on VAT. My website price is £505.25 inc VAT, thats £430 + VAT, not exactly double the price of the KR version which is advertised at £325, no mention of the VAT aspect on there website from what I can see. I can offer discounts on these parts for club members as well, wont be as cheap as £325 though.

I'm not going to carry on with this arguement.

look paul the bottom line is mate i think that some traders lean on the fact that members look at traders here before eny were eles,, and that reflexs in prices like yours at times.. most of us on here bud are just hard working men and all work very hard for ther money , im not gonna keep going on but lots of your stuff is cheaper eles were ,not all but lots,,

but then again running a big place and two time attack cars cost lots and it has to come from some were a ..fair play to all the members who keep you going ,, atb adam
