Toyota Oil as good as Castrol RS 5w40

Ive been on the hunt for Castrol RS 5w40 oil for about a week now.

I rang Toyota on the off chance they would possibly sell it, they didnt (which was expected) but they told me that running on oiil provided by Toyota would be just as good for my car.

I explained that I had a 3.0 TT that had been tuned and they said it wouldnt make a difference.

I dont trust the money grabbers, i think this is just an opportunity for them to make some money. Can anyone advise?

I use 300v 5w40 (its double ester true fully synth) for BPU, and i bought that from Opie Oils on there recommendations. Excellent stuff....and an excellent company

Definetly speak to Opie Oils, good guys and always happy to have a chat on the phone with what's best for you.

Go for Shell Ultra Helix 5w40 fully synthetic, its an excellent engine oil.

Again, speak with Guy from Opie. He'll recommend and oil if you tell him the age/mileage on your car. His reputation preceeds him.

Talk about overkill

I also use that in my Clio, no such thing as over kill when it comes to engine protection.
