They do not confirm to the new rules and regs, and therefore are for off road use only.....................................apparantly ;)

Yes, the .co.uk bit takes you to Newreg, a number plate dealers (or it did the last time I looked). Nice/terrible bit of domain name stealing...

My only complaint about them is that I think their website is confusing. If you want bog standard plates (eg, road legal, no fancy lettering) you go through the 'standard plates' constructer but they give maximum sizes for these and they aren't big enough for the rear of a J Spec. If you want bog standard plates that are bigger you have to go through their 'fancyplates constructor' bit

Why not just select 'standard plates' and you state the size? I wasn't aware of any laws around how big the yellow bit has to be...?

These guys seem a little expensive for me. Not sure how they make them up but most of the guys now print out the plates.

This is good as you can add your own font, watermark, border, text along bottom, etc.. For example I added a Supra logo as a watermark, some text along the bottom and a balck border (passed MOT as well :innocent:).

If yu have it on an electronic file format (jpg, gif, etc) he can put it on the lpate in any way you want. I'm sure he would be able to send an electronic picture file for approval before he prints.

This guy's main job is printing signs so the quality is great... £20 for the set.

Let me know if you are interested and I will give him a call to see if he would do postage to UK. Don't see why not as they are for show plates only :D

Update. Incase anyone was still in two minds about fancyplates I can confirm a first class service. Ordered on Friday, delivered on Monday.

45 mins @ DVLA and half an hour with a drill and all is tickety boo.

Little Toyota logo and Supra logo too. :)
