I order clear side markers for my 97 supra.

the back ones are easy to install as they only held in by 2screws....The front is a whole new level!!

To gain access to the front ones (without taking the bumper or arch shrowds off) you have to try and get your arm through one of the air scoops in the front bumper......as i have installed (2days ago) a black mesh grill on the scoops which are held in place by 1way 'sharp' clips.

I decided to take them out and have a go....my arm has been cut to shreds lol also you have to undo the bolts blind as there is no way of getting to them whilst seeing.

another way is to take the front indicators out and then try (once again sharp clips and doing it blind, it seems the nuts have lost thread and wont budge)

.......the moral of this is.....'why the hell is the most simple things to do always the hardest'!!!!!!

LOL.

I would have taken the arch shrowds off.. Make like easy.

That said ive seen people mesh the whole front of the car and then they cant get to the bulbs without taking half the front end off.

LOL i no mate - its doing my head in - i cant take the clips off as they are 1way and if you take them off you have to buy new ones ....does my head in.

Well im just going to leave it until new spoiler/splitter goes on and get bodyshop to do it....it took me 2hours to get 1 nut off and the others wouldnt budge so i left it...what a waste of time

Easy was without removing your bumper, jack the front up and take a wheel of, unbolt/screw the arch liner so you can pull it back and get easy access at the rear of the bumper, garunteed to work, wont mess with the bumper, little longer but you will get it done that way:)and lots of working space...

I'd do it for you but it would cost you a fortune in petrol :D

Yeah, take the wheel off and go in from the arch liner. You can do it with the wheel in place but it honestly makes life SOOO much easier. The passenger side is a bit of a pain as lots of things are in the way (Water bottle) but easily gotten around.
