Guys has anyone had a problem with their rear window tailgate seal and rust coming through, is this an easy fix to get sorted by a body shop.

Any idea of how much this would cost to get sorted

cheers in advance

want to get it sorted before the next winter sets in

Until you get the window out you wont know how bad it really is but if you've caught it soon enough then its not a major drama.

You'd be looking at around £300 for a proper job + removing and refitting the window + a new seal.

Ric you already got rust coming through? when you went down to bare metal during the work did you coat the bare metal areas in acid primer to seal the metal? normal primer dosent seal bare metal from rust.

Damn man, i had a spare bootlid in the garage with glass, and cut it in half 2 days ago and smashed the glass, offered it for free a few times and it was rust free:(
