Jellybean Posted October 6, 2010 Author Share Posted October 6, 2010 Sorry I am a bit confused ; if the wheel Width is constant and the offset is just changing to negate the need for the spacer, how will this affect the arch clearance ? Surely the wheel wont move within the arch Am I right in saying having +14 offset as oppsed to +24 offset, I will have a deeper dish? d-_-b Posted October 6, 2010 Share Posted October 6, 2010 If you had 1 set (with the above offsets - 19X10.5J ET+37 / 19X9.5J ET+24) and you put spacers on, yes the wheel will move inside the arch because you have brought it out from the centre of the car and so towards the outer arch. If the question was more related to choosing between say 2 sets of wheels with different offsets, then yes the offset will change the dish whilst keeping the wheel relatively in the same position inside the arch. Tee from China Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 If you use this handy calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp you will see that the spacers will move the fronts out by 10mm and the rears by 25mm so a quick measure of the arch clearance will confirm if these as OK Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
