400BHP Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 I have recently sent my S5-R off to Snooper for calibrating after passing a copper with a laser detector the other day and no peep from my S5-R, it seems that those mobile vans also use radar and my detector didn't pick that up either and that cost me 80 quid and 3 points. Moral is guys, just cos when you turn it on it says laser on, don't mean the fucker is working properly! Get it checked! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rob Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 Just cos the copper had a gun, doesn't mean he was firing it at the time you drove past though. I've tried to set my S6-R off using a laser surveying tool, and didn't get a peep, but once while waiting at a junction near a building site, a similar surveying laser set it off.
