Well with the winter looming I'm really looking for a set of wheels to buy for the upra so it's all fresh for when the stormforce comes off in the spring! At the moment I have uk 17s in matt black! Really want to go up to 18's! Do I stay black or.......

This how she looks now minus stickers and top tailgate spoiler, o and plus tein springs and active spoiler!

Really? When I bought it I budgeted £1000 for paint, wheels and refurb, springs and front splitter, well I'm now at that point, I could just Plow the money into the single fund but I really want a change so it looks different and I thought a change of wheels would do this!

The thing is what wheel? I'm sure a set of rotas would look great, but it's been done a million times b4!

Going to bring this back up, im still a little in love with the gtr-d's and am going to probably wait untill at least summer to consider some ccw classics. So the rear wheels size for the rota's would be 18x10 et 35, a decent size for clearence of the uk brakes and rear arches???

And for the front 18x9.5 et 25, now with this offset will they fit over the uk brakes and in the arch on a lowered car(with olling if needed)?, or would i be better off going for just the normally rota gtr's on the front? again in matt black but they come in a 18x9.5 with an offset of 30????

As i said, i had the 9.5 et20 on the front of mine with a arch roll, others seem to say they wont fit, its a tight squeeze but worth it if that the look you want, the et30's will fit better.

Cant say if the GTR-d will clear uk brakes or not.

The gtr et30 would clear though is that right? im sure you had the gtr-d on the rear and gtr on the front jamie? cant find the pic in your build! just wanted to see if they stand out like they are 2 different wheels!

See im not a fan of black on black, looks chav IMO.

I myself have spent a long time deciding on colour and with a black car its gotta be a silver wheel.

I think in some ways your rite, if you had a gippin great body kit and wheels fair enough, but with a stock body supra on a set of black rims, i dont think so!
