Hi all !

Over the last couple of years i've been driving the supe all year round ! :innocent:, but after last years antics in the snow and the car being abandoned for nearly a week and got it the way i want it looking now, so don't want any silly accidents being as its non lsd :(

So i've been thinking of getting a little runaround for the winter months, but wot do you guys do ?

Do you sorn your supe for 6mth's say, av you got to insure your supe for the full 12mth's when really only driving it for 6 to 8 mth's,(i guess so, or you won't get your full no claims i xpect,) or is there a way of getting around it :search:

I will be using mine as much as possible, all that nice fresh cold air making it go like a rocket:cool:

Nice to have a second car though, I dont think id want a supra as a daily driver, i love having a 4wd car as my daily, last year i had a navara and this year i got a quattro equiped S4 for playing in the snow.:)

I always sorn mine for 6-7 months of the year. I keep it in the garage covered up.

The salty roads can't do it a lot of good, and I know it's only a n/a but still is a lot of power to be driving in the snow and ice.

Any hints and tips on storage would be really useful if you've done this successfully before, with no problems. What do you do about your insurance, cancel or just cover fire n theft?

..as others have said. It's an easy argument if you already have a second vehicle, I have my work van..so I'm in the category.

I keep her on the road all year round as there's plenty of dry days too...if it turns again as last year did, into a longer snowy winter..i may be tempted to sorn her for a few months..and a good excuse to to them little jobs that just go by the wayside.. My tax is up the end of October n that's a bit too soon for her to think of relaxing lol
