matte white or matte red - you choose

I'm getting my Supra wrapped by a motorsports shop out of town and I will be either getting it wrapped in matte white or matte red!

I don't want matte black becuase I think it's played out and everyone has it these days.

My car has top secret body kit and it's alpine silver.

Mat black is played out, must have been 5 or 6 in our place over the past 2 week's and i cant see any other colour looking good, just flat

Matte white would be my choice if I had to.

All red Supras are matt red aren't they?

Matt red will just look like old faded paint. To be honest I think Matt White will too. Matt black looks good because it looks mean, any other Matt colour will just look like it needs a good session with t-cut

How do the wrappers get round the problem of the roof where it runs down each side of the windscreen and the rear quarters ?

I guess there must be a few joins somewhere ?

Matt Platinum/Titainium/Aluminium perhaps

Matt gunmetal may look ok......

However if its only the above choice.

The rear quarters connect to the roof without any divisions so they said some overlapping will take place and joins in the smaller spots. Also the largest piece of vinyl will not be able to cover the hood lenth or width wise, so it will also be overlapping.

It seems like a bad thing, but once it's done you won't be able to tell, maybe if you put your face up close to it.

How much is it costing you?

Thanks for the info, im afraid thats what i thought they'd do and that really puts me off doing this.

Even more so if they can't cover the bonnet in one hit.

Is wrapping cheaper than a full respray??? I'm saving to get the Supra re sprayed next year and reading this thread has made me wonder, what exactly are the advantages of a wrap? Do you have to remover the glass and trim??? How long does it last??? What happens if a bit peels??

But this is a Supra not a Lambo or Ferrari, it might look like an old 15 year old Toyota that's faded over time.

I really don't understand the current love of matte finish cars, give me a shiny finish over a matte one any day of the week. Each to their own though...

I guess if it was a choice of the two, I'd say matte white.

okay actually I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a matte color.

I'm being told now it's either matte white or matte black.

I was told white is hard to mainain.

I think black would look nice?

Never thought what vinyl would be like to maintain? Anyone know? Does it just wipe clean? Quick blast with the hose? Or does it need proper washing and grab hold of all the dirt?

matte colors is out the picture, I could get a color one but it would cost a lot more and not worth it. It's either matte white or black.

but after seeing this picture, I don't have to think twice.

Is that black one above not satin, hence a bit of a shine?
