Possible swap now here

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=226819

Just took delivery of a Carbing Strut Brace from JP (thanks by the way, I will do feedback etc in a bit:d)

Thought I would put it straight on, (as I have enough bits of Supra lying around the house) well it doesn't clear the engine; by a lot,

so first question is.....are there different Carbing Braces for the TT and N/A

second question is.....am I doing something stupid, pics below

Going to be absolutely gutted if this won't fit, I have been waiting forever to land a 2nd hand one:rolleyes:

I would guess, as I dont know for sure. But I would say there is a different one for the n/a as n/a strut braces usually go out forward and around the front of the engine rather than straight across as I remember.

Yeah I am guessing there might be a different type, but I had a quick look around the trade site and no one list different types

I know it dont help but you deserve it for stealing parts from me.

Mine clears with ease.

Even with alot of spacers thats still catching?

:p

This one is not going to fit, think I might have to ask around and see if any TT owners have a n N/A brace without realising it

Hey Rog, happy to play this however you want, try and sell it on if it dont fit or i can refund you.

Thanks for the offer JP, but this is not your problem and I am happy to try and swap it or sell it on at a later date.

I might use it in my argument to get a TT;), if nothing else, it's my first mod part for my TT:D (when I prise Jen's purse strings wide enough)

But then again, I could always start up a Dispute Thread

Nice bit of wraping by the way, but no sweets, which I thought was now a club tradition;)
